“Ice, ice baby”……….ok I’m not going to go all Vanilla Ice on ya’ll, but damn I’m loving this shade of icy blue right now. I’ve always had a love of colour – right from when I was a little madam. Learning best for me was through colours, pictures and patterns. As I got older and more aware of fashion, I became really addicted to colour and this always determined what I bought. I went through stages of having favourite colours – in fact I was colour OCD. Blue was the longest serving colour – simply because it was my grandfather’s favourite colour and so that became the colour for every single member of my family (my mum refuses to let go, bless her). After blue came green – and that was serious!! Everything I bought had to be in green! Jade green, grass green, bottle green, moss green – I knew all the shades. Then it was purple, then cognac, then mustard, then brick…..I know right brick! I’ve got more colour love-ins to share with you so hold on tight – but right now I’m just hooked on this icy blue shade – it’s cool and refreshing and looks great on any skin tone. Just mix and match your shades for a bolder look, or keep it subtle and light shades for understated glam!
